La Serre des Mondes at Futuroscope
Located in the Vienne region of France, just 10 km from Poitiers, Futuroscope is one of Europe’s most renowned theme parks dedicated to technology, science, and immersive entertainment.
The park offers visitors unique experiences that combine visual projections, dynamic attractions, sensory environments, and advanced audiovisual technologies. Over the years, Futuroscope has received numerous international awards for its innovative attractions and immersive storytelling.
As part of its long-term development strategy, the park launched an ambitious transformation plan in 2020 aimed at placing visitor immersion and experiential design at the center of its future.
Expanding the Futuroscope Experience
Today, Futuroscope Xperiences extends far beyond the original theme park.
The destination now includes:
- an indoor water park
- several themed hotels
- an entertainment plaza with independent attractions
This expansion positions Futuroscope as a multi-day immersive destination, combining entertainment, technology, and hospitality.
A New Immersive Attraction: La Serre des Mondes

During the winter maintenance period, the park’s 360° Pavilion underwent a complete transformation.
Previously home to the Sébastien Loeb Racing Xperience, the venue has been redesigned to host a brand-new immersive walkthrough attraction called La Serre des Mondes.
The experience invites visitors to explore a lush botanical environment, where nature and technology blend into a poetic journey through different ecosystems. Designed as an immersive pathway, the installation combines sound design, lighting, video content, and interactive elements to create a fully sensory experience.
The Challenge: Building a Unified AV Network Infrastructure
To support the ambitious technical concept imagined by Moment Factory, the FMD team commissioned Lens Audio to design and deploy the audiovisual network infrastructure powering the installation.
The challenge was to create a robust and scalable AV network capable of converging multiple technologies on a single platform:
- immersive sound systems
- lighting control
- video distribution
- show control and automation
All systems needed to operate together on a reliable and easy-to-manage AV over IP network architecture.
The Solution: AV over IP with Netgear AV Line M4250
For the hardware infrastructure, Lens Audio selected the Netgear AV Line M4250, a range of switches specifically designed for professional AV over IP deployments.
These switches provide the performance and reliability required for real-time audiovisual networks in demanding environments such as immersive attractions and theme parks.
To simplify control and monitoring, the installation integrates Agora I Series plug-ins, enabling centralized system management through Agora Controller software.
This unified control environment allows operators to easily manage the entire sound, video, lighting, and control ecosystem from a single interface.
Lens Audio Expertise: Real-Time AV Networks and High-Performance Sound
From system design to commissioning, Lens Audio supports ambitious entertainment and immersive projects worldwide.
Our expertise focuses on two key areas:
Real-time audiovisual networks
Design and deployment of AV over IP infrastructures capable of supporting complex multimedia environments.
High-power, high-fidelity sound systems
Engineering and integration of professional sound reinforcement systems designed for immersive spaces and large-scale installations.
Our mission is to provide reliable, scalable, and intuitive AV infrastructures that allow creative teams and integrators to focus on delivering unforgettable visitor experiences.
Project Partners
This project was made possible thanks to the collaboration of several leading industry partners.
Lens Audio would like to thank the entire FMD team, especially Yannis Marchet and Frédéric Rigaudeau, as well as Moment Factory, for their continued trust and partnership.
Together, we are proud to contribute to another successful Futuroscope Xperience.
